Our healthy economy added 81,000 jobs in 2001. Commercial development has blossomed. Major office developments as well as distribution and service centers have sprung up in the Energy Corridor and Park 10. In addition, major retailers have been flocking to serve the burgeoning population. In 2001, there are just over 4,000 businesses in the Katy area.
