Programs and Events
The Chamber is proud to host a number of events and programs for our members and the community. Involvement in our Chamber programs is a great way to further your professional network, take part in your community and grow professionally.
Chamber Connections
On the 1st Thursday of every month from 7:30 - 9:00 AM, we host our Chamber Connections meeting at a local business. This is a lightly structured networking meeting where each attendee will give a 30-second infomercial about their business and what they do. We bring in additional business resources to educate our members on different ways they can support their businesses. Please contact Stacy Jacobs for more information.
Monthly Luncheons
The Katy Area Chamber hosts a luncheon on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM. These events give our members the opportunity to connect with other businesses and learn about the topics that are presented. These topics are of interest to the business community, including updates about local, regional, and state government, Katy ISD, economic development, and additional business resources.
Business After Hours
Hosted by Chamber members on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 5:00 - 7:00 PM, these events are FREE to attend. Hosts generally provide refreshments and door prizes. Attendees are welcome to drop in any time during the two-hour event. Explore new businesses and get engaged with other like-minded business professionals. Lunch Bunch
Lunch Bunch is hosted on the 1st Tuesday of each month from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM. This event brings members together at one of various Member Restaurants for delightful lunch conversation and networking. This is our way of supporting our local restaurants. If you are a restaurant and are interested in hosting or if you’re not a restaurant but are interested in sponsoring this event, please contact Ashley DeWispelaere.
Ribbon Cuttings
Yes, we have the GIANT scissors and the red ribbon! We also provide your company with a welcome banner provided by Image 360! Ribbon Cuttings are a great way to celebrate your business whether it's new to our area or your celebrating a new milestone! Here are some ideas to where we can come help you celebrate!
- Opening a new brand, location, or franchise
- Business anniversary
- Millionth customer designation (or some other number)
- Moving into a new building
- Reopening a business under new management
- Any reason the business feels they need to present themselves to the community

Each year the Katy Area Chamber host signature events that go back to support our programs and initiatives or the Katy community. These events allow members to network with fellow business owners, gain business insight, celebrate our city, and showcase your businesses to the community.
